Join our thriving community of fashion studies scholars and practitioners. While our in-person activities are New York City-centric, we offer a number of digital events available to anyone, anywhere. There is a range of ways to become a member of the alliance and support our mission. Memberships are active for a single calendar year, beginning on the date of the donation.In addition to early registration for our workshops, membership includes free entry to all FSA’s events during the calendar year. Members also receive discounted rates for all fee-based workshops and symposia, access to members-only events, automatic subscription to FSA’s newsletter, and are eligible to join our public database of professionals available for consultation (currently in development).  

What your fees cover: For our in-person events, fees cover the cost of refreshments and any space rental fees that may be incurred. For our online events, fees cover the cost of platform hosting fees.

We are working on our status as a tax exempt organization, so at this time your membership dues are not tax deductible.  

PWYC (pay what you can) any $ amount. Available to anyone who needs it, no explanation needed. Full membership benefits included along with an option for reduced/waived fees for paid events.

Supporter $55. Our standard membership offering with full membership benefits. 

Sustainer $95. For those who want to help fund our PWYC memberships through a higher donation. Full membership benefits included.

Lifetime $500. Available for individuals who want to express support for our goals over the long term with the benefit of a one-time payment (equivalent to 9+ years of supporter level donations). Full membership benefits included.
