The enviable wardrobe worn by Parker's character, Mary, included designs by Comme des Garçons, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Vivienne Westwood, which were interspersed with vintage styles. In addition to its colorful clothing, Party Girl is memorable for being the first feature film to premiere on the internet.
